You mean the survival server? When did you update your client? I have the same problem with my freshly updated one. I am using MC portable which updated the day before. If you want i can put it on my webserver

Just spotted those. Awesome, but I'm not going to revise my entire circuit! I will however, use them from here on.


Dragunov.... Dude... I do not have admin status! Which, considering that I'm only carrying 158 redstone wire, and 30 torches, is a severe handicap.

warps are hmod driven, so they will have to wait.

i may have some redstone left, ill check when i log in tonight and leave them in a chest for you (if you dont have admin by then).

also, you could check the chest under tcozs (abandoned?) clock tower project. im sure he wouldnt mind if you borrowed some redstone for now as long as we fill it back up for him later.

 

Ahh, that explains the warps.
I may have to borrow some redstone from TCoZ, but that's quite a slog from my battleships site...

How does one learn to play minecraft? I tried the free single player a while back and wouldn't mind buying the game to do multi with the rest of the bit-techers. but from the screen shots that I have seen its a lot different from what I played.
Are there any good online resources that tell you how to do different things? and if I get around to it, where are the rules for playing on the bit-tech server?

The Beta version of Minecraft (the one you need to pay for) is very different from the free version. The Beta version is about mining and survival

There are some good sites to point you in the right direction. Look at the help section on the Minecraft website.

Also a good source of information would be Minepedia, THE Minecraft wiki

So for the full experience, you will need to buy it i'm afraid. On the other hand, if you currently are in a relationship, skipping on Minecraft maybe a good idea People tend to OCD a little

Rules.... hrmm. Dont: cheat; grief; smak; be a d*ck; steal; build ontop of your neighbours; if you break something, fix it; etc. If you're on survival server, you gotta get everything yourself, no /give or other adminy goodness.

Good online resources... Best thing to do, I'd say, is find a youtube "lets play" series with a good speaker or at least someone who has a presenting style you can tolerate.

I like X (e.g. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4bh4EexJO4I) and Yogcast (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4UdEFmxRmNE), but there are plenty other good ones out there.

Some of these videos could be slightly out of date given their heritage, but still... gives you some good tips and can be quite entertaining also!
