Don't you DARE say that again. I'll have to go back to heroin to get my daily fix.
This is pure win! How to get that much perfection into a mod, using basic tools puzzles me. This is one of those project, you just know will end on the frontpage! Keep it up!
I'll never talk again, oh boy, you've left me speechless
You've left me speechless, so speechless~
I got sick of filing so decided to mount the struts. I'll clean them up another time.
Positions were marked up and 4mm holes drilled for the M4 bolts to pass through.
Then some 7.5mm holes were drilled to accept the head of the bolts.
The struts were drilled and tapped.
To get this.
Here's a comparison with CX1 so can see the size. So far Nair weighs 3.7kgs so I expect it
to come in under half the weight of CX1.
That is some sexy s**t.
Looks like you're building another CX1
I was kind of thinking that too...but something tells me the end products will be quite a bit different. That said, he could be using the new project to develop ideas that he got mid-way through CX1.
I love trying to guess
Nice work oldnewby, I sub'd the thread..
I just wonder, that fan body, is it only held up by press fitting?
Shomann got it. I began thinking about this not long after CX1 was started but it won't look
like CX1. Of course there are similarities, particularly in the arrangement of components, but
this is merely logical and is pretty standard for many systems.
At the moment, yes. But they will be fixed securely later on.
This looks like two awesome pieces of aluminium art. Congrats
Awesome! That looks epic next to X1
I had to buy a 6" scraper to get my chin off the kitchen floor, now my teeth dont fit my mouth.
The wife shouted.."just keep using your arse to talk, you seem to be ok with that"!!.
lmao! You must love her to put up with that ;-)
Great work, as usual.
Thanks a lot everyone., I haven't had much time lately but I've still
done some work. The part(s) I'm working on is the cable management, and this
is a bit tricky, I just keep having to remake parts so I haven't got very far, hence
not much to show you. Should have something in a couple of days.
awesome progress! look forward forward to seeing more
