    Woah, is it just me? I got a lil letter from Mr DHL this morning asking me to pay him £12.64 of VAT and £10.00 of administration charges!!! so my lil display ended up costing me about 70 quid!!! The barstuards!!!!!!

    I thought MO set the deal up so we didn't have to pay handling?

    The VAT is probably for inport tax :(

    So no one else got the "Import VAT And / Or Duty Invoice" from DHL sent to em then? Ack, thats a bit unfair...

    matt, i know I should be posting this on your site, but im lazy.. :)
    I plan on registering, can I do that now? Just upgraded and now had to take LCDC out of my startup until it's regged..

    customs only check about 1 in 10 packages coming in apparently,

    anything under 18 quid in total is not taxed, anything over that and they catch u they charge bugger loads, a mate of mine got charged over 35 quid in import tax on a dvd boxset last year.

    so it up t you boys to risk it,

    alternatively u can make sure the parcel is unmarked and doesnt look like something 'bought'

    it also helps if the *******s on the internet dont put the bloody value of the package on the damn label (this i think was why my m8 got busted)
