Thanks Stone. My better half bought me some bokeh filters so i played around with them last night. It was a very low light shot so i know ot could be better but i thought it did achieve a warm feel.

The lizard is crawling across my partners handbag! He was having a little wander around on xmas day

 

Never heard of a Snowpocalypse ? You know you're in deep **** when your 4,500 LBS car got stuck on a STOP, even with 4 brand new Michelin winter tire ! You know you're in deep **** when your pents are ice frozen from the cuffs to the knees ! You know you're in deep **** when your windshield is foggy, your glasses are foggy and you can't see the road because THERE'S NO ROAD !

 

Wow, Snowpocalypse indeed!

 

Hopefully, some good samaritan helped me when I got stuck. I knocked to a door and asked If I could borrow a shovel, the guy came to help me. When you have to borrow a shovel, it's usually not a good sign.

I've had the craziest frikking weak. Ended up filming Miss USA one day, and being in Manhattan for a day. While sitting on a bench in time square I saw a couple both holding a Leica camera I took a portrait of them and then they started taking photos of me

Today I got my 6D, with a proper lens! No more broken third hand Sigma 24-70 for me! Woo
So driving to work and then back snapped few things in the street. Both were edited on a phone using the wifi feature of the camera and uploaded to flickr few minutes after being taken

@TheBlackSwordsMan In few hours I'm getting on a road to go to Montreal. Hopefully the roads are clean(er).

I'm staying for two nights. Any tips on places to shoot, visit, party, eat?

For a minute I thought the second one was taken with a camera and my mind damn near did a meltdown.

 

God I love Cheap Mod Wannabe's photo styles!

 

1. Vieux Montréal area, Vieux Port area (same place), Chinatown.
2. Château ramezay, Musée Pointe-à-Calliere (there's a huge samurai exposition at the moment), Musée McCord, Musée des beaux arts.
3. Party = Rue St-Laurent (the whole street !) or the vieux montréal area (les 2 pierrots is a wll known place).
3.There's McDonalds every 100m on Sainte-Catherine street loll

No technical masterpiece but if a picture is worth a 1,000 words, my friends 9 year old daughter died of leukemia in 2009 and each christmas they put decorations and a tree on her grave, having known her it felt pretty strange taking pictures of this.
