Thank you. Yeah, Sometimes it's forced (Work) and other times, it's just stupidity. I can't wait for winter; and then sunrise will be 8am again, heh. Sam
So i got a new camera last week, then promptly went to Yorkshire for a week. This is my first published photo using it: Union Jack by Sam Masters, on Flickr Sam
Nice, Sam! I like the colours in both of those. What's the new setup? It doesn't look like you can crop it easily, but is there a Photoshop trick you can use to remove that bottom right corner of the umbrella shot without it being too jarring?
Thanks. The Umbrella was with the Panasonic S5 & 20-60mm kit lens, the Leaf was with the S5 & 50mm 1.8. I ended up shooting an entire wedding with the S5, and mostly used the 50mm for the ceremony, and I used the Electronic Shutter. I was a guest, The photography was sprung on me 5 mins before things started.. haha. Given my friends weren't expecting any photo's, they're over the moon with what I achieved. The Umbrella is an awkward shot, and to remove the other umbrella would be a case of 'Take the shot again' Given I took it on the Thursday, 1st day of the long bank holiday, York was very busy, stopping in the middle of the street and looking straight up isn't/wasn't the wisest of moves, haha. I got the Panasonic at a really good deal on Amazon, £1800 for the body, kit lens and 50mm, Thanks to a £200 off voucher, and I'm paying over 12 months. Cheers, Sam
I mean, I'm not saying this edit is *great*... ...but it did only take about 45 seconds. Heal Selection Cheesecake!
