Ok guys well i tried out drilling the holes through the support and it worked out quite well but i noticed if you drill all the way through you will chip the side that the drill comes through whereas if you drill most the way through so that the drill is just poking through then turn over and drill the other way you dont chip it.

I then decided to move on to the next module.... so here goes

    step by step :

    1. i mark out the piece that will be bent
    [IMG]

    2. then cut it out
    [IMG]

    3. then grab your 30"bending brake
    [IMG]

    4. mark where you want it bent
    [IMG]

    5. start bending untill you think its about right
    [IMG]

    6. grab your set square with a handy 45degree angle on it
    [IMG]

    7. check angle its not quite right just bend some more and if its too bent then just push it back with your hand.

    8. repeat stages 4-7
    [IMG]

and that is it for today guys.

    hope you enjoyed it

    Josh

    The layered look rules.:D
You say you had trouble with the tile saw? Was it the plastic protective layer, or water in the face syndrome?
It looks like a little water could help your drilling too. Either that or the wood under the material was too soft.

When I asked about 'gaps' I meant 'seams.' I was kinda sleepy. My punctuation and vocabulary goes away when I'm sleepy.

    Thanks guys :thumb:

and cheap it just wouldnt cut straight i ran it along the fence but then as soon as the first part got past the saw it started to go off to the right...

and i did use water with the drilling. but i dont mind about the drilling thats easy enough to sort.

    Looking good:)

But how are you going to drill the holes in there for the cables to fit if the HDD housing is fully built?
Unless it's not fully built and I'm a dipstick for not noticing?:p
