IMHO, new one looks better. I don't know; something odd about going from res to res! :hehe: New one looks much more....balanced, I guess would be the term? Either way, it's gonna look great.

Tonight I've been busy depending how I will make the first plate for the inner plating. This plate will be positioned on top of the single radiator, right underneath the motherboard tray.

    Drawing is not to scale.

As you can see there will be one big hole for the radiator, as well as three holes for tubing (oops I forgot one..) and a hole for ATX and P8 power. I'm going to try to make this out of 1mm steel tomorrow, using the proper equipment.

Ok I did the first plate today. It came out nicely, but first I'll show you some of the machinery I have at my disposal at school.

A bending machine for steel and aluminum.

A small cutting machine for angled cutting.

This cutter is for doing bigger plates.

One of my favorites: a punch machine. This saves a lot of time from drilling.

There are also things like a CNC turner, laser cutter and lathes.

    Modders paradise :dremel:

On to the project. I don't have any action shots, but here's the result:

    Fits perfectly :cooldude:

Proper equipement ... now everything is clear as fresh perspex ... good work! So the fan for the radiator will be under it? there is not much place between RAM and radiator. Fan will be pushing the air up or sucking it down ?

P.s. Proper man, with proper skills and proper machinery -> Koradhil

^Yeah, you can see what looks like the 3-pin connector on the fan hanging just below the separation plate.

Man, looks great. Almost reminds me of the V-series plate, doesn't it? Nice work.

    ^ Wow!

It's not just the machinery - you have to have vision and know how to use it. :)

Having said that i would love to have those at my disposal.

    Great work Koradhil :thumb:

LOL just kidding. But seriously, I want to see the tubing!

Yes, and I can't say I've done anything new either. My mind isn't really much into modding the last months and it isn't likely to change soon either. I will probably continue this summer. I want to have it done for the Games Convention in August.

    Hey there,

I'm just here to tell you this project is finally nearing completion. I've been working hard the last two days to get it done for the Benelux Casemod League next weekend. Unfortunately I didn't have time to take pictures of the process, but I got some near-final shots for you.

System turned off, the WC isn't filled yet so I cant switch it on (for long) yet.

The two pumps at the base of the casemod. It's a dual-loop system: Pump-CPU-Rad-Res (top) and Pump-GPU-Rad-Res (front).

what's up with the cable mess on the very last picture koral? :(
Anyway it looks awesome, and the red you've chosen go so well with the black. I'd vote for some more pictures of the beauty! :D
