Update - 29.05.07

Did the logo on top today, some pics to illustrate


Marked up. Had to redo the drawings, saw that it would be too big.

Almost there, had to to it by hand, had no more long blades left


There you go! Just missing to take of the tape and engrave the logo


Just enough room! Fit perfectly Some sanding still needs to be done.


Will do more this week, maybe tomorrow, when i got time! Will be gone this weekend, the Norwegian Mercedes-club will meet on Gol, awesome(Cars and aLOT of alcohol!)

The only thing I got done today, is that I have sanded the egdes, p120, p180, p240, p1200(wet sanding). I also drawed the logo on the plexi bit, just waiting for getting back after the weekend now, to start engraving

I will also remake the plexi bit infront, without frosting it. Ill make it clean, and to cover the power holes, and the LEDs. I will also engrave the logo on it, someplace.. Also thinkin of engrave the kryptonite onto one of the bay-covers! '

What you think about that idea? I think it can be freaking awesome

Top Plexi Finished

Update - 10.06.07

Been bysu the last couple of days, work etc. But today i finaly got something done! I have engraved the logo and nailed it to the top panel.

Didn't got to take any W.I.P. this time, the camera was gone with my mother, unfortainly. But at least I got some shots of the product and some overview photos!














Cool, or what?!


That is for now, now I have to find out if I will have the kryptonite engraven in front or not. If not I most likley have to wait for the hardware to come before I can to something. I could have started inside, but I want the hardware..

There you go , updated sketches in 2nd post!

 

In front I was thinking about engraving a "Kryptonite" on one of the bay-covers , and are planning to use a diamond picture as inspiration. What you think about this one ?




I was thinking engrave after the black lines , will that be cool , or should I engrave one line in the middle , if you understand ?

Please , tell me what you think!

 

engrave following the pattern with the black lines, looks better than a single line arangement.

 

I would also go for the whole pattern.

 

Kryptonite doesn't look like that.

Anyone who has an idea on what to add outside the case , infront maybe ? Or should i just leave it as it is and consentrate on the inside of the case now , when i get the hardware ?

I could make a PSU bracket out of the ACrylPanel i got , what do you think about that ?

 

I think it looks great as it is at the moment. Dont go to overboard with it.
