Three Kazemaster fan controllers turned up for the rad box so time to make a bezel to hold them. Just wish they had turned up earlier so i could have got them all mounted but ran out of time so one down, two to go and at least the weather is going to hold out all weekend so more to come over the next few days.
I've got the exact same controller, it's a good bit of kit, apart from the bloody alarm if a fan is turned off/on.
3 controllers what for?? IF you are going to use 12 fans , an aquaero would have been the best solution, and there are other fan controllers that could have been used also , such a waste of space in the case and in my opinion many controllers in a case front gives an awfull look , anyway i like the project your building keep it up !
This one might be a good choice as well. It allows 30W per channel which means you can control something around 70 , 120mm fans.
looks sweet coolmiester really liking the custom plate for the controllers what finish are you going for on the plate?
Oops, missed a couple of pictures out! I used my trusty Fret Saw with piercing 12 x 32tpi blades for the cut outs
nice, wish i was able to cut so straight like that anyways very nice work all in all cant wait for more updates
Yeah, Matt's right, just a generic Fret saw though i've never used these tiny blades which seem to have a mind of their own so you got to be super careful especially on straight lines but give a great sense of satisfaction to know you made it yourself and not taken the easy option. I'm just checking with Bitspower to make sure i didn't over step the mark and will update on the Carbon Black fittings ASAP
whoopsie A nice blade to use is a generic carbon coated one, intended for tiles. Makes really nice cuts with hardly any filing. Used it before on a few bits.
OMG & wow, ludicrous amounts of awesomeness , some serious money going into this , so this is the face of budgetless modding, Niiiiice ultra enthusiast pc, awesome . Your doing a great job so far mate, this is like a pc I can only dream of doing, thanks for sharing a dream pc to make us all drool . I checked out your other mods & they are all very nice . +rep +subbed .
WeeeHeeeeeeeeeeee Finished the bezel for the rad box which worked out good even though there is a few slight imperfection - fan controllers are just stuck in with Blu Tack for the time being and the whole thing still needs powder coated and painted but that's it pretty much done
Coolmeister, chance of the measurements you used here? I'm building a new front panel for my pc, and this is how it'd look (minus 2 of the controllers) Got the exact same piece of kit (y) Looks epic with the bevel.
