    The Premiership sucks :)

It has killed real football in this country thanks to Sky.

Couldn't stand Ferguson but respect what he has done. Moyes will be a great appointment if he is allowed to manage by the club and the press. Don't think he will somehow.

Hopefully West Ham will still be able to get points when we need them against Man U :)

My fear is that Fergie was the glue holding the club together. He ruled it, he was king. If Moyes can be as decisive, well done. However, I wouldn't want it to turn into another Chelsea, with the chairman's finger constantly on the fire button.

One of the things I believe Moyes has in his favour is that he won't allow negative media context to dictate or restrict his plan. That's not to say he doesn't care what others think, I just get the impression he won't stoop to playing their game rather than his.

Moyes has done a wonderful job at Everton- operating on a low budget and having what control he can have. However, United is a very, very different kettle of fish.

Anyway, thanks to Chelsea for keeping Villa in the fight. Sorry Blazza. :p

Now it's almost kick off time! It's an absolute joy to see Wigan in the final and see Whelan lead the team out. Come on Wigan!

Hey, here's hoping Arsenal meet a Newcastle vying for survival. Don't want to repeat of Liverpool, and Newcastle are a class side that have just fallen to bits.

Looks like Mancini is set for the dole queue...

that said I had a sneaking feeling they'd hand him his P45 even if they had won the FA Cup

No surprise - He couldn't control his players and can't win the league even with the backing of a billionaire.

Billionaires expect results - bye bye Mankini :hehe:

[edit] I should add that I dislike City almost as much as Chelski

Well, it's looking grim for Wigan after today's results.

Now for the sake of us and Spurs, I really hope we can trounce Arsenal again!

And Old Bacon Face is angry at his players. No surprise, as soon as they won the league, not even the Hairdryer would push them on.

Yes, very much so. They need two wins (unlikely) or to draw against Arsenal and beat Villa, plus Sunderland to lose hugely to Spurs.

At least we're safe now though.

Hey, I'm hoping for a 20 - 0 win, so that we could go above Chelsea on goal difference.

I don't think Moyes will be remotely bothered but the press going on and on and someone around him will crack ala Chelsea / Man City.

I agree with your sentiments about Moyes himself and I hope he is given a real chance. But overall I hope Man Utd crash and burn, along with FIFA, UEFA, The Premier League, Sky and Howard bloody Webb (Who is going to pay his wages now Fergie has quit ?).

Well, Pardew has just said he doesn't mind if Newcastle lose 4 - 0. What a ****.

Wigan are down end of really. Arsenal will blitz them on tuesday to make sure of it.

For me Wigan need 2 wins to stay up a draw will just not be enough due to goal difference.

Chelsea have what they wanted champ league football.
