    Good morning Bit tech community.

I have decided to take a major turn in the build. As i said in the past the plan was to have the case powder coated. I have done some research and found a shop with some decent prices where i can give my case for paint.

But today after careful though i decided that i will paint the case myself. I have a pretty good experience with spray paints and i am not afraid that the result wont be good. The reason i do this is because i want to check every phase of the paint and i dont want to end up only with one color.

The color scheme of the build will be white red and black

    Love the base. :thumb:
I don't think you would have been able to do powder coat with all the smoothing putty. Paint is your best option.

You cant imagine how troubled i was with the base. At least i came out with a design that is acceptable. :thumb:

    Now back to work.

I am starting to mount all the pieces on the case to check if everything fits and make some adjustments.

In this photo you can see how the stand attaches to the case. It needs some cleaning and smoothing but you can get the idea. The stand i use now is if i place the case on the floor, later if i decide to place the case on a desk i am gonna make a lighter stand.

    Hello everyone.

I decide to clear coat the radiator after i let the paint to cure for around 2 weeks on stable temperature.

I decided to use satin clear coat and i think the result came out pretty good!

Looking really nice just wondering before you gave up on the aluminium did you try those aluminium welding sticks that just use a blowtorch to make the weld ? Think it's just a mixture of aluminium and solder and worked well using it 10 years ago, but didn't try sanding it down. Just curious because I'm wondering if its still a usable idea as looking to use it in my case project.

I know that method buy i dont trust it since i think that is used to fill gaps on aluminum and not for soldering 2 sheet of pieces.

The time is close indeed, although the weather here is a bit crazy and changes mood every couple of hours, i am pretty sure that ill be able to paint on the following days.

Today i got back the case from the plexi shop. They did a fantastic job and i am really happy with the result.

Why didn't you do the plexi yourself? Or even go with acrylic? It would have been more fun for you.

After many modifications i managed to mount the plexi on the case. There are some minor adjustments i need to do on the following days, but i think that the result came out pretty good.

I managed to take some photos before i leave my work to show my progress.

    They did a good job.
@Spectre- There's a learning curve on plexi cutting/bending. He didn't have the budget to waste sheets getting it perfect I imagine.

Thats exactly the reason i let the plexi shop to make it. I have never worked before with plexi and i lack the equipment to do so. Even the guys from the shop found it tricky to make the window and they wasted some sheets.

    Cheers
