the paint finish on the blower looks a lot better in person then it does in those pics. also, the top of the blower and the plastic covering over the large gpu heatsink is uv reactive.
Very nice concept, is it making good contact with the GPU? What's the noise like with it? Get that PSU braided Keep up the good work.
its making good contact with the gpu. Noise is minimal @5v feeding the blower. As to the psu wiring.. that is only temp. Im using a $20 psu right now as I wait for my Ultra 500w psu... maybe it'll be in tomorrow.
Okay, I got a new person to host my pics, so all pics have been moved to a different server, and therefore they should all load a lot quicker now.
how did you end up connecting the small screen to the computer. You had posted pictures of the standard RCA video cord and the DVI->VGA adaptor but did not explain how you resolved the issue. Adding a screen similar to the one you added is something that interests me and I was wondering how hard it was. If you could explain in more detail how you did it, or maybe post some more pictures that would be great.
Im going to be installing the lcd tomorrow (have to cut the front bezels and attach the lcd. As to how i got it to work, it was rather easy.. i found a s-video extention and attached it to the back of my videocard. thats it. Okay, softmoded my 9800 pro to an xt... here are my results: the core is a bit less then it was with the pro bios (now its at 445/385)... but in 3dmark03 my score has gone up a bit: 6855 (from 6623)
Im going to be cutting my bezels today so that i can install my 5.4" lcd in the front. I have a question about bits for my new dremel that I purchased 2 days ago... Since I will be cutting aluminum, should I just use the regular cutting disc? Does this sound like a good way to go about cutting my bezels: 1)cut inside the line (about 1cm in from the line) 2)and then grind the rest so that its perfectly straight. (should I use a grind stone or sanding cylinder?.. which one?)
Alright, sounds easy enough.... btw, was that just the $49.99 LCD you had??? That seems way too cheap, but if it is really that cheap I would really like to look into buying one now
$49.99??? When did I ever say it was it was that price? I bought my lcd from a guy on a different forum for $60 Shipped.
Okay, i screwed up one of my bezels... cause I wasnt paying attention to what my collet nut was touching... arg. Also, I have a prob: How do you cut a 90 degree angle in the middle of the bezel? I cant get the very inside corners. Would a Cutting Guide (565) be a good idea for this kind of cut? What bit should I use? Any ideas please?
dont have one... any ideas what I can use with a dremel? Also, i got a circle cutter with my dremel... would I be able to use that to cut a 120mm hole on the top of my case? if so what bit?
My bad, someone (too lazy to find out who) linked to a site that was selling ~4.7 inch LCDs for 49.99-59.99. I assumed you got yours from there.
