Halloween appears to be geek mating season... :D

On a sad note, I'm one of them. Meeting a group of friends tonight. I botched the question on Saturday (mentoned earlier, not going into specifics) and it turns out she's going to be among them tonight. This will be interesting, hopefully I can recover something, even though I realise it'll never be the same... :worried:

Hardly ruining but annoying: Gotta wear glasses for PC use now.
Turns out those headaches were due to an eye muscle issue for one of my eyes. Also explains why I've been having issue playing FPS games. DOH!

First world issues right here people :D

Injury + insult - Some careless *insert suitably harsh curseword here* broke my Fluke 187 Multimeter on a work site today :grr: I left my toolbox with the lid closed for 20 minutes to go and get a sandwich this afternoon. When I came back, my favourite "cheap" DMM had a broken screen. I say "cheap"... The 187 cost around £200 when I bought it, and didn't have a mark on it before today because I know how to look after tools and equipment. My 87v (which is on hire purchase) is about 4x that price. I generally don't let that one out of my sight...

And I still haven't shaken off this "impending but not quite there yet" cold/flu that I've had since Saturday night

Right, that's enough complaining for one day. I'm off to do something constructive!

I know! Quite a few of my mates are in similar situations

I know my current predicament dictates my opinion is worth next to nothing but I've never actually asked someone if they want to go out with me. I find it easier to just get into conversation and slowly move closer over the course of an evening. As long as you don't take things too far and you both feel comfortable then I find the relationship just naturally develops into something over a period of time. The difficult bit is making them aware that you want more than friendship without overstepping their personal boundaries.

    I have fallen in love.

With the 'math grenade', which I cannot afford.

    WANT DAT CALCULATOR.

Me: *Prepared for maths test like a boss*
Teacher: "Test is about to begin."
    Me: *Pulls out Curta calculator*
Teacher: "HOLY S**T! HE'S GOT A GRENADE! EVERYONE RUN!"
Me: *Sheepish face* "Sorry, but it's a mechanical calculator."
    Teacher: "Oh."

    True Story.

    Slightly fabricated.

I have 2 hours until my least favorite class of the week....

I hate some of the people I'm sitting with, this lounge has a large population of extremely outspoken conservative republicans.

It's cold out, and all I have to wear is a pair of shorts, tee shirt, and converse, again

    Not ruining but frustrating

I have to go back to college tommorow

Im kinda stumped what to do with music production... i want to really start making music of my own but not really sure where to start with it, i want to go from scratch just need a good idea for a beat been sitting here hammering away for the last 2 hours doing nothing i just can't get motivated to taking it seriously.

Im tired of not doing anything intresting with my life it really consists of being on my computer going to college going to work and getting drunk on the weekends....

I worked for Disney last summer, so thought I'd go back, didn't even get given the chance for a face to face interview the second time. Shows loyalty for you..
