    My room overall:

Where I build machines (PC parts above, amongst other things) and generally do my first job as an IT Consultant:

My main area I spend most of my time in. My second job is a Sci-Fi writer/author for the Black Library, who are Games Workshop's publishing arm. I specialise in Warhammer 40,000 - hence I have very 40k book ever written around me.

Finally, one of my pride and joys, which has drawn many words of "OMGIWANT!" and "Would you sell it to me?" over the years:

Can you guess I'm a sci-fi nut? :) I did consider running an equivalent Gears of War cabinet, but couldn't find the space! :D

Feel free to ask any "what's that?" questions :)

@Ph4lanx, allow me to be the first to ask 'what's that'
Where did you get your display cabinet from? I'm after something similar for trains and hopefully, Lego.

    Cheers

The cabinet came from IKEA. You have to build it yourself, but it took me about 15 minutes to do, and that included 2 minutes of me making sure everything was laid out before I started :)

I also added a light through the hole in the top, to light the whole thing.

Wow that glass Cabinet is cheaper than I expected. I am now thinking up things I could store in it, just so I have an excuse to get one :p

it's not that silly. I've done the same so I can wire the xbox in through the HDMI.

I've got the white legs, but the tabletop is a plain wooden one. It's really a nice kit! I wish I thought of doing the cabinet instead of legs though.. It's a nice kit! Good value for a large desk, lots of modding potential.

Black legs, and either 100cm white, or 120cm birch top depending on my current room setup.

    Ikea treats me well.

You should be careful linking directly to pictures on Facebook's servers, people can reverse search them,

Yeah it doesn't worry me though as my Facebook information is only available to the point I am happy with. Changed just incase anyone accidentally stumbles across it and is particularily offended by my ugly mug though.

I also have the cabinet on the right hand side instead of legs, although it's not the type with doors.

@ Ph4lanx: When you say Sci-Fi nut, you mean Halo nut?

Join the club! I could tell by your tagline before I saw your Halo fanclub cabinet anyway :D

My room is getting a good clean and tidy tomorrow, and I'm finally gonna post my setup here :)

Unicorn, well Warhammer 40,000 holds a deeper place in my heart (as you can see from the books), but Halo is one of my favourites. However anything Sci-fi interests me greatly :)

I'll post some shots of my office, since I tend to spend more time on a computer there then at home.
