I never saw this, it looks interesting :)

Thanks buddy but I didnt like it, so I disassemble it again!
Today I went to various aluminum factories to weld the frame but unfortunately nobody was
willing to help or had the time to do so.
I decided to go and buy some tools and do the frame again by my self the proper way.
    I am a perfectionist what can I say? :D

Look what happens when you go out of town for a week. Very nice stuff here. Those panels look incredible. I can appreciate the amount of time it would take to draw all of that out. It took me a ton of time just to redo and customize the fretwork in my current case, so I can imagine how long it took to design all of that out. I'll keep my eye on this one.

Thank you my dear friend, my honor to have you here commenting! It took me 2 months, 10-12 hours per day, I changed 3 times my plans, even though the case is not complicated, is well designed for airflow and room to work and also functionality. Also my concept was not to add a lot of "fragile" designs like AnG3L or Totechnika so I can take it with me in various exhibitions.

    Thanks again!

Next update on the main chassis again!

I decided to redo the chassis cause for a reason I didnt like it, it felt clampsy and "unprofessional". I went to different aluminum factories for welding but I couldnt find any.
So my ghetto knowledge had to work again! I had to find a cheap way but also good enough.
I went and buy some steel angles, a small "degree" holder to be able to cut 45 degrees etc using a saw, a saw for steel and a corner clamp.

Because I cant afford to buy expensive tools that doesnt mean that I cant find a way to do my job, even if it would be more difficult.

Here you can see my "ghetto" cutter.

    And action!!!

Better than a dremmel!! Ready to move on!

Here is the useless crap I bought to hold the frame in place, in order to drill the angles etc
but probably its use meant for something else.... stupid me

    So ghetto method again!

    Some parts ready

Assemble and photos of the work done today.
More updates will follow soon with more on the chassis work.

Looking great AnG3L , mitre box is good but I opted for a cheapish mitre saw, made framework sooo much easier :thumb:, the hardest part for me was marking up accurately :hehe:.

I find doing it by hand gives just as good results as machine most of the time ofcourse if you bought a nice new £300 mitre saw its going to get quicker cleaner results but hey!

Doing by hand is all the fun right? I like the way your assembling the frame very clean very impressive.

    Keep it up man

Thanks DP my friend, I look like it like gymnastics lol!!! Yeah its fun but I wish I was in a better financial situation and had some power tools, I could work faster, better and do more things....

Guess I have to compromise... again in my life!

    Peace

You do what you have to do. Not all of us have gobs of money to spend on tools. Then again, some of us spend gobs of money we don't really have on tools and stuff...

There's nothing wrong with a miter box. It gets the job done. It just takes a lot longer and lot more work. I sometimes think Oldnewboy can make practically anything with some files and a lot of elbow work.

Indeed you are absolutely right my friend, my arms know that though ;) lol
Yeah Attila is really an inspiration for a lot of us here and we take lessons from him as also
    from other modders.
I will keep on going as I did before and I will keep you updated! :)
    Thanks man

Schweeeeeeeeeeeeet!!! Looks nice Ang3l. It's gonna suck when you have to take it part to get it powder coated. Or when you layer it with 38 coats o' paint. Hahaha.

Thanks mate, the chassis will be one fixed part, the rest will be removable so I will remove only
the hdd cages etc for powder coating. :D

Absolutely, it's great overcoming challenges, makes the end piece all the more satisfying & impressive display of skill. I fall into the
    bit.

:duh:, I seemed to have given the wrong impression a little once again like I sometimes do (me aka occasional dumba$$), guess I'd better clarify about the mitre saw, I meant this little helper :).
Was about £15 more than the same mitre box I almost got, sorry for the misunderstanding :duh:.

The new framework looks awesome AnG3L :thumb:.
