I concur. Mainly about the last point. Especially the last point. Sent from my Orange San Francisco using Tapatalk
My sister informs me that she's bisexual. *cue enormous grin* Sent from my Orange San Francisco using Tapatalk EDIT: BORIS!
Brasil tries everyone to fall asleep, so they will win the medals because no one else will compete. And i am dissapointed at no Doctor Who at all.
Everyone rep this guy NAO! Really looking forward to Rio now, quite the impressive display they've put on
Who's that lass dancing with the two girls? Rio's putting on a great show. Sent from my Orange San Francisco using Tapatalk
I think the ceremony was good, but I really think they could have done better with some of the acts. Beady Eye? Seriously? Liam needs to realise he's a one trick pony that needs to fade away gracefully. Brian May was just too obvious an act for this, can we just leave him in his old folks home please? Oh and give him a haircut while you're at it. And don't get me started on Muse, I fail to see the appeal in this band. They are mediocre at best. However Eric Idle was just genius. This is the sort of surprise that you expect to see at this sort of event.
Seriously Boris is what makes London great! I love how everyone is trying to hold a strong public image with the typical hand clap dance Boris is just going for it! awesome just awesome
You have quite a negative attitude. Liam Gallagher, despite being one of the biggest berks that the country has ever seen, is the former lead member and singer of one of GB's most famous and successful bands. Brian May is one of the greatest guitarists in the world and just proved that he can play just as well today as he could in the 80's and 90's. The notion of putting him in an old folks home is preposterous. He's one of Great Britain's most treasured celebrities and no matter how "obvious" his inclusion was, he performed brilliantly and I'm glad he was included. Muse are just Muse. Personally, I like them but I understand they're not everyone's cup of tea.
I think that SebCor made a great speech. Mentlegen, I am proud to say, we've done it right. Sent from my Orange San Francisco using Tapatalk
Pretty much this (though I disagree on your distaste for Brian May and his hairdo). The spice twats were absolutely horrendous and hardly the greatest advert for the country, the same goes for the megac**t Liam Gallagher who probably couldn't give a toss whether he was there or not. And I doubt anyone could perform We Will Rock You with the same showmanship as Freddie, but come on, there are plenty of people out there who could have done a hell of a lot better than that. The same goes for Kaiser Chiefs performing The Who and random ginger kid covering Pink Floyd - if you're going to choose some of the most iconic British acts of the last 50 years, at least get the original band members to perform it rather than the current flavour of the month pop acts. Edit: OK so I'm slightly happier now I've woken the neighbours with The Who
