ReviveX water repellent has helped me out a lot there, all my stuff is completely impervious now. Needs reapplying every year or so, and a bit of a faff to apply (needs to be heat-sealed with a tumble drier or a hairdrier) but works really well. Throw in a Vee Wipe and you'll laugh your way through any downpour. I actively enjoy biking in the rain now.

    (Sexy bike, btw.)

Also, big shout out to whoever recommended me the ACF-50 bike protector/rust prevention spray a while ago. It's completely saved my bike, and made it look five years newer in the process. Absolutely magical stuff.

I agree, acf-50 is wd-40 on steroids, and the only thing that shrinks is rust!

I can see it now :D

Great choice, XV535 still is a lovely mid capacity cruiser. How does it sound?

That does look sweet. Tank looks tiny though; What sort of mileage do you get from that?

Yesterday I was given a 'Verbal warning' by the buisness manager at work; I was doing a task outside, a customer who I'd spoken to about bikes when he came it was sitting by his CBR 600RR, parked next to mine, he called me over, and we had a little chat, to which I was immediatley summoned to the managers office for a bollocking. I don't see what the problem was, but there's no point trying to fight it, it'll only get me in more trouble. One of my freinds at work did the same and argued his point with the manager, who then cut his hours to 6 a week from 25, which I can't afford to have happen.

Mum had one of these before getting an SV. IIR the tank is for show more than anything as the main fuel tank is under the saddle.

This has the newer tank that holds a little. Main tank is under the seat. Will be about 130 Miles out of a full tank.

Seens about the same as my CBR, then.

Well, wasting time, evidently. I don't get it; the words were somthing along the line of: 'What if a huge load of customers came in as you were out' to which I answered 'If I saw that, then I'd come in' She doesn't really like me, as so said I was going to be talking to the business manager. It was all on CCTV, I think that's the main thing.

Since I want to keep telling my woes at work on the internet, I shall simply say a well known, fast food franchise based business, albeit our restaurant is corporate owned.

I can't comment on sand, but I know one of the other managers is in there...
