    update

I've made 2 holes in the bottom of the case for some ccfl's. To create a green glow underneath. I'm not 100% happy about the result. Comments ?

    Update 12
Well I’m done with school for this year. 2 months of modding time ^^ Maybe you can remember the front panel of the case. It wasn’t really nice, so I repainted it today. First I needed to do some sanding to get the little imperfections out of the filler. First I sanded it with some P180 sanding paper. To make it even better I’ve sanded it with a P1000 sanding paper. The results are rather nice in my opinion.

Here you can see the front panel after 20 minutes of sanding. Most of the paint is gone now.

You can’t really see much deference after the P1000 sanding paper. But when you go over the surface with your hand you can really feel some deference. I’ve put the side panel on my painting table ^^ ready for a new layer of paint.

It looks very nice. Also look at the nice shine it has. I’ve already put a final coat on it.

    On the kitchen table ^^

So that’s it hope you’ve enjoyed watching/reading my post. I’ve really took my time to write this update. Most of the times I just put the pictures online with no text.

    Until next time.

That front panel looks really good with the new lick of paint! lol the ccfl's under the case are really old school.

Do you know how to play the harmonica?

The front panel came out really really well. :thumb:

As for the CCFL's down bottom...It fits your mod nicely, especially since you opted out of cutting a window. Adds a bit of flash to the case.

Thanks all. The colour of the last picture isn’t really natural. I will try to get a better camera before my final update.

glad to see your case already had a removable side panel. the cases i have like that are the one piece cover so i usually cut the side to make it removable. those square indents at the bottom of the front always bother me and always get filled. just as you did! I'm itching to get the stuff together now and turbine mod one of mine! great work

My project is almost finished now. Time for an update. I’ve build in all the hardware en did some little improvements.

I needed to drill some holes for my 120mm turbine fan as you can see on the picture.

    Mainboard in place

The dvd/cd-rom drives needed to be painted as well.

Made my own round ide cable ^^

    It’s the blue one :p

As you can see on the first picture you can still see the CCFL’s on the bottom of the case. So A sanded a little plexi plate and glued it against my sidepannel.

My new graphics card and some fan’s arrived.

As you can see on the Turbine mod from mnpctech the have mounted a fan behind the turbine fan. I also did this. But its verrrrrrrrry noisy.
