    Ah good.

Already got the parts, oddly they were pretty $$$ on euro but the 50% off would have made it about even.

    Cheers for heads up.

Decent little managed switch - LAG is so easy to set up. Much pleased.

Not a purchase but got a couple of Dell Optiplex 7020 machines from work for nothing - i5 4690, 16GB and Windows 10 Pro license with each. Not bad, I must say, but unsure what to do with them at the moment.

This. Or turn one into a Plex server maybe although ideally you want a couple drives for that.

There weren't bothered about selling them so I just got 1st dibs before they were disposed of.

Eyeing up an 8TB drive in the marketplace. I've got a few 120GB SSD's that I got from work a while back so I could easily make a decent Plex server. My NAS does a fine job already, though (Synology DS416Play). I'll probably turn one in to a Hyper-V box and maybe give the other away to a family member.

Good uses for sure. You could always sell one or both and pocket it for Xmas. Ought to get min £150 but maybe £200.

I'd love to take one off your hands if you don't wanna sell 'em. :)

I should do that with my lounge PC. It's running a Haswell i3 so I think it's going to get an upgrade now. The Dell will still be decent with an i3.

On another note I've order a shinny new laptop - Dell Inspiron 13 7000.
£100 at checkout, £20 off for asking and £100 cashback to claim back. Top model for under £1000, which I think is pretty decent. I was going to wait till Black Friday deals but I just went for it. I can always return it.

Treated myself to a Noctua NH-D15S since I found one for a great price on ebay.

Did some testing between these three great coolers and I like the D15S so much that it's staying in my system for the foreseeable future. Sorry Thermalright!
