I like the metre in a metre idea. You can still drive that 6A beast if you want, but will be a huge drain on your power supply if you want full deflections. If you are going to get a new metre get one that has a low current rating, that way you will no be wasting power to make the thing move.

Good luck.. the rest of the case is spot on, keep up the good work.

    The rust looks so realistic!!!

What are your plans as far as hiding/modding the circuit boards go?

What values are you using for the potentiometers for the fanbus? I was thinking that I may try my hand at that as well.

Awesome prouject Piloux! I just have one question; what are you planning to do with the electronic components? (IE Motherboard, Video Card, etc) You wont be able to "age" them in that sort of manner without ruining them, unless there are paints that can be applied without ruining the electronic connections as far as I know. Or are you not planning on having a case window?

Love the project-keep up the good work! Oh yeah, are you going to be using the case exterior panels on that project? I hope so-you can do some really cool things with bullet holes... :thumb:

I am lovin' this prioject! Great job Pilioux! Here is a suggestion: Get a Bulgin Vandal Illuminated On/Off switch and use your rust effect on it.. It would blend in and light up. It's $20 US, and I bet you could find it somewhere near you.

I assume that your going to age all of your stuff to continue your theme on to as far as your mouse, keyboard, and monitor? If so, that would look awsome.

Well, I can't say it for now, I have some nices ideas for that but I prefer waiting to buy the components to see if I can realize what I want...but don't worry about it the components will be nice integrate

thes are 25 kohm potentiometers, I just replace those from the enermax fans ;)
