Thanks for the nice comments everyone. Well there is a very big, and yes, I'll say it, quite painful story to the photography. I don't mind admitting that I am a terrible photographer. The only good photos I've ever taken were by pure chance. I just haven't got a clue. I started taking photos of this finished project over a week ago. I've tried every kind of lighting, indoor and out. Every kind of background, the list goes on. As usual I think if I take enough photos, then, I will by pure chance get some that accurately reflect the real life appearance of this case. Getting some nice shots of details were successful in several instances but getting a good pic of the whole case was elusive. This really hurt because the case is sitting here on the desk next to me and it looks really nice. I just haven't been able to capture that look. Here are some color photos. The reason why I removed the color was because matching the color and tonal balance between shots was beyond me. So I just decided to remove the color. The other problem was the random and ugly reflections in the panels. This actually made the shape appear different in many photos. So I have been unsuccessful in really giving you an accurate impression of what this looks like in real life. I may just make a video in the future but right now I'm beat. Here the lit up area of the rear bulkhead and top are quite close to accurate. So you can see how the colors in all these shots are quite different, especially comparing a full case shot with some of the detail shots. Have a look at the last two pics, the last one is the more accurate. How I got the shots that are close to accurate, I wouldn't have a clue. So this is why I removed all the color.
