Oh yah about the paint it will be getting a new paint job just not to sure what yet as i havn't fully comited to a vid card yet and it will be based on that would really like the ATI though would be the whole gargoyle theme so would give it that bad ass look with the reds and blacks and silver murals.

We will see will need to decide this next week for sure as it will take a couple weeks just to get that done.

    Power supply done

Well time for anouther update i managed to get the powersupply mounted the only bad part about this is if anything goes wrong with this it will be a big pain to replace but oh well.

Here is a shot of my not so great mounting but hey considering i am doing this with no shop what so ever just the tools at hand and spare stuff.

But over all it worked out not to bad now time to extend and wrap all the powerlines so that we can power everything.

Here is anouther shot ran all the wires in the cab figure this would be the best as there is not much room under the floor for anything.

Also while i was at it i got looking at the sides of the motherboard tray and realized that you can see through the wheel wells so figured need side skirts to hide everything under the motherboard as this is where the electronics for the remote part will be as well as the harddrive.

Here it is fitted all on the main chassis this is coming together pretty nicely i think this one is going to turn out pretty nice.

Here is a little closer shot of the fit on the motherboard tray and the main body.

Next we will start putting the parts back that will make this still a remote control unit and see how it fits and if it will still drive.

    Remote control back in

Well now to put all the remote controll stuff back on and see if it still drives.

Here is the main circut board for the rc part as well as put the axles and motor back in.

Oh yah almost forgot the one thing i had to do was relocate the battery tray as it was in the bed of the truck and now that space is taken up by the mohterboard so remounted it underneath.

I am going to leave it like this as no one will see it once all the parts are on but this way i can still use the rc part as i need.

Here is a full shot of the chassis with the front sterring in this should work.

Well this was a quick update not to many pics but i will update somemore as i go along oh yah tested it and so far so good all the elctronics are working once i get some of the othere stuff bolted on i will put up a little vid of it driving.

Hey why not will drive both into the lan so maybe but it won't be any quick race a little to much in parts to wreck it

But would give a whole new meaning to Computer Crash.

Would need to be 30mm fan grills and a little hard to find those and got looking around and the rims for a RC are 22mm rims so would probly look a little small on the truck but hey will keep looking around and see what i can come up with.

Now just need that fancy cnc machine and hell could make my own.

    Dreams Dreams Dreams :sigh:

    Dash work

Well i have a delay on parts looks like i will not have them till early next week but no fear still lots to do on this so here is a quick update on the work done on the dash.

Earlier i decided to mount the CDrom in the dash now i got looking and i had a few switches around that would fit in the dash also.

So out comes the drill and now the comp start button and reset button as well as power led and harddrive led are now all in the dash.

Sorry got carried away and forgot to take pics as i went so here is the finished product.

Here is a shot of the back side.

Well while i was in here i thought about the gauges and how they seemed to be lacking something so thought why not light them up seeing as with the roof off now you will see it better so here is the build on that.

At least this time i remembered to take pictures.

First we need to drill some holes as everything inside this has to go.

Time to open them up a little this should work with any luck

This was made from a front panel off a old case forgot to take a before shot but it was a drive bay cover i am sure lots of you know the ones i mean.

Ok now to put some 3mm leds in to this tried to drill them so that you will not see them directly.

Well time to test them and  they work now to mount them see how it looks.

Well all is good this looks sweet worked out great.

Oh yah i am using red leds because of the color scheme as well as it was the only 3mm ones i had. :sigh:

Note to self buy more leds. Never seem to have enough around here.

Good luck finding someone to paint that for you.

It would be awesome to see in person if someone could pull that off, but I'd have to settle seeing it online.
