Project Interceptor - Interactive Modding!!

Thanks. I noticed waaaay too many times that many people weren't liking my direction on other mods so I thought that the next time I mod and people don't like it, it's not only my fault.

 

I took some more pics of the case so you can get a better look. It's old, dusty, and about 30lbs empty! Also, the side panel swings open and the front bays slide out! That's pretty cool. But oddly enough each bay is screwed in place.

it's a cool case, a lot of room. don't mess that up

 

Take out that PCB and see if you can wire it up with added extras!

Now to determine what needs to be black and what needs to be white. Should I have the case be: blackwhiteblack like.....



Or should I maybe paint it black and add a white stripe or something? After this we'll discuss the cuts I'll have to make.

I think you should have black side panels, black interior, white LED fans, and maybe some white translucent acrylic here and there for accents (like #7328).

Okay....so you are heading in the cop-car direction... I like the idea...maybe put a cop car sign in each of the white parts like on the cop car's door too.

Will the red/blue lights on top be flashing and a siren going off when you do something "illegal" on your pc?

 

No, but it will have a working lightbar on top for startup and shutdown maybe?

 

I like it. Wonder if there's a way to work in a cop spotlight, like as a fan? Might need some antennas, too. But all stuff that might be anoying if it stuck out on the top.

A divider inside like the wire protection divider between the front/back seats could work.

And some strobe lights at the bottom.

i'd say, get some cop logo's to... and perhaps the lightshow that you suggest on top

Even if I also think the HP case is the better choice the Dell is so cool ^^ I also have one of this cases and it's in my case even a XPS ^^

The design is very different but funny ^^
