This really makes me sad. Waynio embodied everything that made our hobby great. I will miss him dearly.
Thanks for sharing Mark, my best goes out to your family. I remember when I first started seeing Waynio's work when I began modding and it blew me away. To top that he turned out to be a great guy and always had something positive to say. You will be missed
This is just madness 2016 hasnt even begun and its taken 2 of our dear friends on BT. 1st Teelz and now Waynio. Both will be modding in heaven together RIP Waynio
Absolutely stunned by the news of another bit-techer falling. Deepest condolences - thoughts are with friends and family.
Mark, I forgot to mention, please insure Wayne's Photobucket account doesn't lapse. All of his worklog images and creations are hosted here, http://s433.photobucket.com/user/waynio_2008/library/ We need Wayne's work to remain archived for people to continue referencing and discovering.
This is such awful news. Mark, condolences from myself and the bit-tech team at this sad time. I've worked with Wayne on numerous articles over the years and was constantly in awe of his skill with hand tools. He will be missed by many on bit-tech and on other sites too as his projects were fantastic and well-known and he was a regular nominee in our modding competitions.
This is unacceptable..... Totally unacceptable. I am in tears over this and I'm man enough to say so. Love you Wayne,You are one of the best
Gutted, although I only spoke to him in passing on forums and I very much doubt he knew who I was, he was always a big inspiration and I wish I had an ounce of his skill and ability. A really sad loss to the community. RIP =(
I don't think I can deal with 2016 any longer... Rest in Peace Wayne, and my condolences to you and your family, Mark. If he was anything like his online persona (I never met him IRL) his loss will be keenly felt by his loved ones.
This is sad news indeed. A horrible loss for the modding industry. You will be missed and never forgotton
I'm so sorry for your loss Mark, truly devastating news. He was such a great passionate guy. I've followed his work closely for quite a while now, his skill with file and scroll saw surpassed what most could do with a fab full of machining equipment and a team of people.
My sincerest condolences to you and your family on the passing of Wayne I was a big fan of many of his mods on here and the logs were always brilliant to read though. RIP.
