HI MonkeyNutz, radodrill is right. I used an old motherboard tray for this. It saved me form making a new one.

Than i have something for you ^^

well its been a while cause the acrylic let me wait a very long time. But now it arrived that morning and i already started working. But the actual pictures will come in the evening cause im still working.

But i give you one teaser picture, its the sketchup drawing of the front. Little details will change in the Progress, but you´ll see that later.

    Heres the Pic:

    Update 05. Sept.

    Thanks :D

And here is the promised Update.

As you can see i changed the dual thermometers with a vfd display. I had the Display lying around here, so i thought tish would be better than the first idea. Still have to think of a nice cover though.

I came pretty far with the front and im happy how it turned out, mostly. I have to polish the power and reset ( as i would need one :D ) some more.

    Now here are the Pics:

Very nice. Clean, straight and simple. I love your touch with the blue Plexi-rim.. Are you going to light up the rim as well? :)

No, nothing planned in this direction. But i havnt thought much about the lightning until now.

@theAlien: Yes they are from Reichelt, around 4€ or so. I think its a good price. Much better than the ones with the glowing ring for around 20€ :jawdrop:

€dit: Woot just forgot to post the Update ^^ sorry guys.

The Front how it looks now. I decided to make the display Cover out of Spy-Mirror-Acrylic (does this word even exist?). When the Display is off, its a real mirror, but when the display is on, you´ll see the display. I think i will make some of the blue plexi around the mirrow plexi later.

    What do you think.

And i attached the switch panel to the front.

Than i started to work with the acrylic again.

    One step closer ^^

    Thanks Guys.
I just saw, that i forgot to post one picture. I could finish my first sidepanel. The right side now reached the final level, i just have to make the sponsor name ready for it, but this will come later.

    Here is the finished Panel.

Very nice work sik. I love the clean look of the case.
Well thought out and designed in advance.

I think the display will look great - i am using the same stuff in my side panel.

In that last picture - have you painted the aluminium or just sanded it?

Oh i sanded it first and than clearcoated it to protect the finish from nasty fingerprints ^^

I like your project very much too. Just all the holes you have drilled would have made me crazy ;)
