I wish for someone to PM me with advice on upgrading my existing rig that errs towards a lower power consumption but retains good frame rate on fps! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Anyone got a stock Intel cooler for a 3570k? I need to get this machine up and running and check it for faults. I can't do that with a waterblock attached to no system. I can get everything else sorted I think.
I'd be grateful for one or two PC2-5300 or PC2-6400 SODIMMs if anyone has any lying around, either 1GB or 2GB, to upgrade an old laptop for a friend. He currently has a single 1GB PC2-5300 module installed, so just another 1GB would make a difference (the max supported is 4GB, 2x2).
I've got a single 2GB DDR2-800 stick or a matched pair of Samsung 1GB PC2-5300S if they're of any use? I will admit I have no idea if they work and I haven't got a DDR2 laptop to try them in unfortunately.
anything now ive lost all my computers to the police while they investigate false allegations having world of tanks / killing floor withdrawal symptoms been gifted an old 8600gt so I might be ok for graphics ill donate / return it once the police finish with my gear ( in about 6 - 8 weeks or so... )
A moderatly used 780GTX for around $400 CND would be great. I can image that should be a fair price for a used card. As long as it works and it doesnt die on me in the next few years ill be happy.
Received today Chris, thanks again. I tested them all and they all worked, I've used the 2GB module in the laptop and put the other two back on here as a donation with some DDR3 I had lying around The donation can be found here in case anyone's interested: http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?p=3514629#post3514629
A windows 7 HP key (legit of course). I could bring my brothers pc into inti the present day! Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
I'm building my first real mod but im broke. I'm very worried that I won't be able to afford any overclock able parts. I could really use a gtx770 or i5-4670k. That or a good mini-itx motherboard. thanks.
A board that is capable of SLI that is compatible with my ivybridge CPU. I really want to go SLI with my GTX 670 Direct CU II 4GB but man... I don't even have an extra slot that's useful. That'll show me for buying a cheap board just so I could upgrade.
UV Orange PSU cable extenders? (ATX, 6-pin, SATA's, USB & Front Panel) I'm just totally broke atm, dont want to risk my PSU's warranty (while i'm broke) and CAN'T STAND the standard Corsair Black cables! A Fully Modular PSU would be awesome (i'm only using a 430w atm) but too expensive for me right now!
A replacement X58 board would be nice. Mine takes a few attempts to power up. Once booted it's fine and restarts are ok too. Even bought a new PSU hoping that would fix it.
It's a pity your in canada, I've got a 1.9ghz x2 3600 your could have had, probably would have overclocked that extra 100mhz easily.
I think you have it worse than me. Once it starts it's fine. Probably capacitors degrading or something like that. It has always been overclocked so I guess it's wearing out.
