You can find both the teabagger and victim's Twitter feeds. She just commented saying she doesn't want to talk about it any more.
That's the point. Surely the author of the article should be proving that as it's the only bit of evidence we have.
I find it very difficult to pick out the useful pieces of information from the cesspool of abuse on Twitter. People actively look for targets. I've had it done to me: I've had totally random people pick out my tweets using key-word searches or alerts or something and send me abuse. But I guess this is what passes for "journalism" these days: twitter feeds, rumour, and manufactured controversies. (To be clear @Vault-Tec this isn't a dig at you personally).
I'm not down with the kids on the whole online gaming scene and all that, so anyone feel free to set my on the straight and narrow if it turns out I just don't get it. I infer thusly: in a game where the entire premise is to repeatedly and violently murder and be murdered, one person is up in arms about the "humiliation" of another person's anatomically blank avatar squatting over her avatar's corpse, after being murdered.
TIL that O2 customer service is run by a bunch of f**kwits. Well, not really today, the knowledge was just reinforced.
TIL Bill Withers is black. I'd somehow gone my whole life without seeing a picture of him and to me he sounds white. So, yeah.
It's over a decade since Sarge told everyone to work those hammies, over two decades since Quake 2 single handedly made it a thing, I am genuinely surprised that teabagging is still something that offends. Oh well, another example of violence being fine but being purile is not.
Bloody hell! I've been aware of Bill Withers for a least 30 years and I too had no idea he was black.
Well this will blow your tiny minds, the intro to Bill Withers - Grandma's hands, was sampled by Blackstreet - No Diggity No doubt...
I thought Ken Boothe was white once. Made sense, I've never heard a white man who can sing like he does tbh.
TIL how fiddly fibre communications can be. End device only supports 100BASE while switch only supports 1000BASE, reminds me of when connecting to older equipment with serial and having to set the baud rate (at least it is adjustable and I don't need different hardware).
