He didn't, the building moved, as he was sat on a chair with wheels he didn't move the building moved under him. Lesson here, Delta fans are stronk.
The fans are distribute over 40'x9' wall, you don't want any loose papers but it not knock a person over strong. The fans are part of a portable data center built in to a intermodal shipping container and all the servers were built with multiple 120mm fans. A full container adds up to 1080 fans.
Fans in 1080P, I await the 4K fan array, likely to move used for moving shipping container vessels, or a portable hurricane generator.
How do these "portable data centers" work? I recently looked into hosting equipment in a container due to heat but didn't get very far as it didn't meet other requirements I had.
Like a normal data centre, but smaller and more rectangular. I know companies buying 'em in pre-made: you pipe electricity, water (for cooling), and data in one end, and get processed data out t'other. Pretty neat, really. Here's some of Microsoft's: installed in just eight hours by four workers. Mind you, they're currently moving away from shipping containers to sealed boxes they can sink in the sea instead...
TIL (or Wednesday night when it was on telly) is that the UK version of Demolition Man replaced Taco Bell™ for Pizza Hut™...... it was a WTF moment when I watched it.
These are very simple and rely on a large volume of air for ambient cooling. Lots of areas for improvement in the design but the designers have opted for maximum density over several other consideration.
Including repair, I recall somone from MS saying that with their sunken ones, if any part fails they just ignore it and keep on ignoring failures until there are enough of them to warrant just replacing the entire unit.
TIL Japan is facing down it's own y2k-ish moment, brought about by the abdication of Emperor Akihito https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/shawnste/2018/04/12/the-japanese-calendars-y2k-moment/
It's an international thing. Taco Bell's product placement contract was for a fixes term, which has now expired. Pizza Hut then bought the new rights.
