Sandpaper: 800, 1200, 2000. (start with the 800. But even better is to sweep the whole area with 200grid or so at first. the the following rout. But be shure to move back and forth, back and forth etc.) Yes I haven't polished the acrylic, but will do later. Thanks for the remider thou. Thanks for the positive feedback!
That looks really really good... are you going to treat the finished surface though? Autosol is great for making things shine but that will go tarnished and rusty if you don't at least put some wax on it (similar to when you polish your car)
I grinded the sides of the acrylic plates. But theres nothing called perfect here.. Plain and shiny. How it looked erlier. Some difference..
I have to agree with fredz too, this way it's nice and understated. Looking really good, those edges came up a treat!
yeah just mount a few LEDs in the bottom of the acrylic, it'll look amazing if you hide the wiring well
You just laid the planing open for the webb. But we will see when theres time to continue. But there will be four LEDs on the plate with 9 holes and possibly two on the other side... Thanks! The surface on the metall has been sprayed with "anti rust" or something. It looks more like glas now Not so well pollished but this side will not be seen in the case.
It will be used untill the GPU block arives... Since the work was made mostly on the fact of outlook, estetics etc. I didn't think of air pressure. The blue dots are nipples from the radiator (PA120.2). Soon another update.
eVGA 680i :: eVGA 8800GTS :: PC-V1100B :: Mushkin XP2-5300 pix The orginal modification, Miranda, is short out of work. I mean time this is the comp I setled for. Love this nVIDIA cooler, togehter with the RAM it's nice. The motherboard is compleatly in my taste, simple and clean.
You will have problems with that mobo, just so you know...I'll post a link later. EDIT: http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?p=1374476#post1374476
