Spainish modders unite! - well I am 1/2 spainish anyway. great mod Kumo, I just came across it. I have been wanting to do a w/c shuttle. I'll watch yours instead.
Today update, resume the button works The chrome plastic frame glued over the nut. The cap on position... Perfect match. Rear view. The decorative rez Two plastic lights covers from the Antec Sonata front... Glued together... And glued again, in the front An overall look while drying. Making the loop Testing the first tubing. A short piece from the pump to block, reinforced with coolsleeves to avoid excesive bending. More tomorrow! @bootupbuddha: half spanish better neither hehehe. I supouse your father is Spanish, isn't?
Few work yesterday... More tubing in the loop. The GPU. Painted and finished chasis with the tubes in the GPU block. The tubes fits well. Maybe, some Coolsleeves more is needed, i`ll see it later. The tubes pass pretty close of the DVD.
1/2" in a shuttle not gonna be much flex in those tubes! hope it doesn't put to much strain on the blocks and barbs!
1/2" but OD. Still left some tubing more... i'm planning how to. I tried 1/2" ID tubing but was too much with that config. To use 1/2" IDtubing, need to replace the full DVD for a slim one and change the VGA block or its barbs for more apropiates ones and other works.
More updates in the loop works. Short pieces of CoolSleeves on the GPU tubing. The fan i`ll use until i get a 80x38mm better fan. A trust YS-Tech fan of 3/3.5K RPMs The sleeved fan. Note the black three pins connectors to replace the white ones. Black painted clamps. The mounted BLIM rad... ...With the tubing More tomorrow!
At the output of the rad will be a "Y" to the pump and the Fillport. No rez this time. I have to see how i put he fillport in the hull modifications.
Hiya, Good work their man what process did u have to take to paint the main chassi? I wanna paint my shuttle's chassi but i wanna make sure it dosent flake, did u prime it or anything before hand. Cheers Rich
This time i didn`t use primer. First i sanded che chasis and then applied several coats of Duplicolor black mate paint for plastics (no need primer). When all coats are dry (very quickly with this paint), applied at least, 2 coats or more of Duplicolor Bi-Coat lacquer. Its a paint usually sold for cars and others works that need good finnishing.
Updates!! Finishing the loop: Rad - Y - Pump. With the pump mounted in the cage. And the DD Fillport. One day i made a guide to copy this thing (lot of maney saved) and use in my LanMachineInterface mod, but this time i decided to buy one. Filling and testing. Mix of distilled water and anti-freeze. Only the pump has been powered for the test. The first runnings with lots of bubbles... Then, running smoothly without air in the loop. The pump is almost totally silent with the case open. No leaks, as well A little preview of the work to come... markings and cuttings: Stay tunned!
Hmm... all I see is: A little preview of the work to come... markings and cuttings: op_stop(); ;op_start(); op_stop(); ;op_start(); op_stop(); ;op_start(); Stay tunned! What gives? I was just about to comment on how I dislike project logs with links to pics instead of actual pics... but I don't think that's the case here...lol. Is something messed up on my end or yours? luvbug
I checked your other project log and it's the same thing with the pics. About half of the pics show up for me, the other half are that text. Weird... All other pics in other project logs show up fine, just yours are the ones I'm seeing this way. luvbug EDIT: The text is a hyperlink to http://www.imageshack.us/ and nothing else. Never run into this problem before, someone let me know if I'm the only one seeing this. Thanks, luvbug
