Thank you again! I think I'll add two battery meters to see how the NiMh packs are doing. I'm thinking of segment displays with red leds. Maybe place those to the carrying leash next to ipod case. More photos about this later.

I added 6db/oct @ 70hz high pass filter to the input. Seems to play louder without losing low end. Atleast bass drivers cones are moving less. Didn't add voltage displays, yet ;D

Sorry to disappoint you but I only have slight dust allergy so it's convenient this way :D Battery compartment door might have enough space for the voltage meters. Here's a quick photoshop addon to my previous render.

Nice man, i just now found your topic :D You choose Visatons from MB 208 Kit? And i recommend to make fast opening for li-po batteries because it's dangerous i even thinking about fireproof bag :S 6 cell of 10Ah it gonna be a lot of smoke and huge fire if it get short :S http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCWdnjLqVWw&feature=related mine should be 10 times bigger if it gets short or discharged a lot

Yes I had a LiPo and a lipo bag. My lipo battery was dead so at the moment I have NiMh pack. Btw. Visaton kit is really loud. Then I added additional 70hz highpass and it's even louder.

What kind of preamp can I use safely? I remember reading preamp was not recommended atleast for my sure electronics 2x100w tk2050 amp. I have one preamp kit on the shelf, it says:

    2-step preamp for 12-30V. Input 2-20mV output 200mV-2V.
