Scratch Build – In Progress Project : Future Schlock by AnG3L (15/October Let the bench Saga begin!!)

I like this one's start. quite a bit of engineering and thought going in to this, as always. I'll have to sub this one so I see it progress whenever I get time away from my ridiculous work schedule.

In all seriousness though im seriously looking forward to this! Do those grills have any connection to the book or is it something you've came up with? i see some indian navaho tribal designs going on there i may be wrong

This is a very interesting concept man.
I very much look forward to seeing some renders of the whole plan when it comes together.

I particularly like the pattern on the 360mm top rad grill - it looks as if it's smiling back at me.

I'll be sure to keep a watchful eye on this project, as I do with all your postings.

I am going to move on to the real deal soon with pictures from the laser cut pieces and the press bending process. Glad you like my concept brother! Peace!

 

This is my first official teaser update of things meant to come!

I did some primary work on the chassis nothing much, I will give you a clue
and also I laser cut the aluminum and stainless steel pieces. Next month I will move on to
the CNC'd acrylic parts.

I need to gather some opinions and advises on how to polish stainless steel by experts or... not!

You can see the rad grills and some other parts how they look like and probably if the process will change, what will be.

ps: The final result must be pure nickel stainless steel look.

 

Also will it be better to nickel plate it? It seems almost impossible to polish this radgrills. Stupid me I followed the advise of the guy in a water jet cutting factory and now I dunno what to do....
