I posted this in the life ruin thread yesterday, but here goes... Yesterday was one of the hardest day of my life so far: we had to have our empress put to sleep. Chest infection coupled with failing back legs meant that it wasn't fair to let Dolly suffer any more. Now our empress is out of pain, but we're not - I'm not ashamed to admit that there wasn't a moment yesterday when either my wife or I were in floods of tears. Our one consolation is that we rescued a wonderful greyhound and gave her over 9 years of the love, peace and security that she deserved after the first four shitty years of her life. We had so many happy memories and we couldn't have hoped for a kinder, more loving addition to our family. RIP Dolly, you will be greatly missed.
aww so cute pets. All the pictures make me really happy and now I'm smiling because I love pets! Unfortunately at the moment I do not have pets so that's why I admire photos of your pets!
Zumi, taken with a 40mm macro lens strapped to a Nikon D3200 with SB-800 Speedlight then processed to within an inch of its life in Luminance and The Gimp 'cos why not. I was only really testing out a cheap 80/20 reflector that I got in the post, which turns out to be useless 'cos the velcro patches to hold the inserts in place just drop off. Bah!
