Can't wait for 4.2 to be released in November for iPad, it's going to be so much more useable, and even easier than it already is.

I've updated my 3gs to 4.1, and went to Camera but i don't have the HDR function, i thought the HDR was being introduced to thr 3g/3gs as well as the 4?

you'll need to jailbreak for the HDR feature on 3G(s). well, wait for jailbreak to be available for 3GS devices.

HDR for 3G(s) is in the works for jailbroken devices.

one more reason to jailbreak :)

Same. Flicking from emails to Safari to something else is annoying at the moment!

    But still good :thumb:

ROFL. 8000 employees in South Africa, 180 in this country... All Machines run from South Africa, thus: Fat chance :p

For now I am waiting for the Telecoms provider to deliver another 24 iPhone 4's (mine amongst them). They said 2 weeks ago they'd deliver 35. They delivered 6 a half week later. Then they promised the rest on Tuesday. They delivered 5. They claim that they thought the order was for 11. In spite of having moved 35 contracts onto that option and renewed all of them. We were then promised the remaining 24 by today. The woman that made the promise is out of office today (clearly planned, as her email auto-responder is on), and the other one (who ordered 11) is now telling us that we'll get them on Tuesday.
This brings it to 6 weeks that most of us have been paying for the contract, and not received phones yet.

Yeah but they aren't that great to be honest. I am more interested in air play.

Sorta - there's more variety in the available tones, and you can assign different tones to different contacts, but I don't think you can make your own like you can with ringtones.

BTW - at start of download, 11 mins remaining. Now? 3 Hours. :eyebrow:

The whole world and it's dog must be downloading it. :)

You too? No wonder it's now 4 hours! On a 50Mb connection! :worried:

    187.2 of 624.3MB... And counting.

179.7 of 322.9MB for me? (for iPhone 3G) on 50Mb pipe too :(

81 Mins remaining!.... which seems to be frigging perpetual at the moment no matter how much completes downloading.. I think iTunes has decided it will take 81 Minutes until I die.

(Gotta send the phone back to apple tomorrow anyway (crack at the dock... demanded new one again, they bent over.. ironically not dealt with my G4 PowerBook charger catching fire tho... *pfft*) but would like to see if it's worth updating when I get the new phone)
