Yep - all 4.1'd up.

HDR photos are nice.
Game Centre could be cool (Userid: GreatOldOne)
Full BT control is great

Never really had an issue with the proximity sensor, so I can't comment on that.

 

Proximity sensor is spot on for me now, as its my first iPhone did not release I had a problem until it was fixed.

Feels slightly quicker on the iPhone4 for me as well, my WiFi seems to be running faster on it for some reason.

 

Any ideas as to how large the 4.1 update is? We should be betting 30-odd iPhone 4's (16GB models) at work within the next week.

I shouldn't worry about your phones - they'll ship with 4.1 on them.

 

Not in this country they won't.
Thye come from China (probably). iPhone 4 is not released in south Africa officially yet to the best of my knoledge.
Also, they've (as in these particular ones) have been lying in a store room in this country for at least a week by now.

but i'm upgrading just yet. jailbreak is more important than a small camera feature.

 

All iOS updates are around 600MB (as far as I can tell), even the one that just changed the picture of the signal bar >_<.

We tried updating our first batch of iPhone 4s from 4.0.2 to 4.1
Downloaded 4.1 update,
connect iPhone 4
select update.
Error -19.

Tried this with different iPhones, on different machines and different iTunes versions (yes, we did try 10)
Only thing we can think of is to try from home (i.e. a machine where McAffee maybe doesn't have a firm grasp on the system).

 

Errr your on a tech forum and you have McAfee on a machine, whats up with that? :s
