I have a great learning job, i'm hoping to write my Electrical trade test in a few months, and today I received my citizenship status letter, officially making me a citizen of the United Kingdom.

 

Are you no longer in Zambia then?

 

I'm in South Africa for a few months then back to Zambia. But my UK citizenship application has been going for a while

Having a bit of a relaxed day.

Looking to book a hotel in Bristol last minute seems to be a task without spending close to £100 when we had initially eyed one for £50

Its not going to last, I've been at my girlfriends last night and I think me being away has left my mother with nobody to moan and belittle I replied to her snooty text without some cold hard logic so she might be a bit pissy with me.

cut it short: I missed a parcel delivery she booked for a day she was working because I was running errands over town in wind and rain for her.

What a terrible son I must be.

 

My wife and I are doing Treat Yo Self this Saturday. After 10+ years of continuous higher education between the two of us we are going to go and be just a little frivolous this Saturday. It should be fun.

 

My Mortgage application was approved, I can buy a house

 

that is all.... its been a 4 week wait! I get to play with 500hp again soon!

 

Cleaned my desk for the first time in months; it's shocking at the kind of crap I kept on it. It's quite refreshing; for some reason it feels better to play some games. It's strange really, i've got OCD, but i'm not entirely organised. I still wiped my desk with disinfectant all the time, but I never cleared any of the papers and such.

 

I have the internet again! It's terribly slow, yay! But the ping is relatively low and I can watch YouTube without issue so I am happy.

Unfortunately the phone socket locations, room choices and my office layout mean that the router isn't in my office and so until I find a better solution I am going to setup a wireless bridge to make a wired network in my office for PC and NAS... We will see how long that lasts

Also the can left essentially on my driveway left the next day and I haven't had problems since.

 

Not a purchase (since covered by maintenance plan), but:
1year service on my GT86.
Word form the mechanic: "We can see it's been driven sporty as it should. However, it's the best-nick one we've seen coming in... nice ride.".

 

After simply the most **** weekend I have been greeted on this miserable dark depressing Monday morning with feedback from the interview I went 140 miles away for!
