There are so many to choose from, and so many I've probably forgotten all about.

Does anybody have a thread that lives rent free in their head? Spam me some links, I'm in the mood for reminiscing.

It's just a shame that all the old PhotoBucket links from the begone era are dead now, so much comedy gold lost to the graveyards of t'interweb.

We are all too senile to remember where that stuff is. Threads that turned into the random hangout of the week would be on my list, but are kinda hard to re-locate.
Edit: @Weekly_Estimate - bikini granny, or Shirty wearing things?

Good shout Crappy, and heres to all the others we've lost over the years. Maybe not quite as high profile (at least to the current membership), but no less important.

In lighter news, matters relating to errant yoghurt always tickle me.

i was about to say the threat that most sticks out is the ''Yoghurt'' on the chair

but we had good times in the old Demote theads, ( except when THAT picture was posted )

Cheesecake reviews were always welcome, and the yearly tradition of ''who dafuq is that in everyone's profile pics'', and by extension, any thread posted in by the lord of relix himself

Wasn't their a thread about someone's groin-grown dairylea too? I've admitted a lot of things to you guys, deep personal things, but some people go way too far :hehe:

I don't know if I have a single favorite. Here's a dump of some of my favorites over the years.

Black Mesa - You can't not love Half-life and some styrene sci-fi panels.
    https://forums.bit-tech.net/index.php?threads/h-a-l-f-l-i-f-e-black-mesa.268134/

Project Streamliner - A High Effort Hot Rod Case
    https://forums.bit-tech.net/index.php?threads/project-streamliner-upd-23-12-14.268250/

Tenius 2 - An Ultrathin custom build. The build images are missing, but the money shots are there.
    https://forums.bit-tech.net/index.php?threads/tenuis-2.260655/

Loramentum - A great scratch build with some amazing water cooling. It's also a great example of a custom build that was upgraded hardware-wise. I often wonder how long these high-end custom builds last when hardware becomes outdated so quickly.
    https://forums.bit-tech.net/index.p...grade-update-27th-january-2017.266632/page-16

SteigerWood - A SFF Gaming HTPC. The images are gone but there's a youtube video in there.
    https://forums.bit-tech.net/index.p...quidcooled-gaming-htpc-finished.288707/page-3

Verktøy Cu - Hard line copper. Functional nixie tubes via Lamptron fan controllers. This is a fun one and all the images are there.
    https://forums.bit-tech.net/index.php?threads/verktøy-cu-an-elegant-steampunk-2p-workstation.305950/

Modzero Juice - Another great SFF PC.
    https://forums.bit-tech.net/index.p...-systems-s4-mini-80-finished-13-12-17.315853/

I forgot how much you'd scroll in the old internet. I'd open a build page and then see the scroll bar shrink super small and I'd think, "I'm going to be up late now." I'd read every comment and follow for updates. It was a ton of fun.

Such a clean rig, would not be out of place in posh high-end hi-fi shops
One of my all time favourites, total copper sploosh-fest

Would depend on if it was intended to be used as a daily or not. There's quite a lot of mods that get pulled apart after they've been to a show or 2, so hardware can be used for another mod. I've only just retired mine as my daily after 4 and a bit years. I'd upgraded the 3700x to a 5800x, and the rx5700 was still doing ok generally, but I wanted an ultrawide (for work as much for gaming) and it wasn't really gonna cut it. Plus to upgrade the GPU would mean I'd have to redo some tubing runs, make another GPU cover, or but her then original one, but I'd like it to stay as is, in memorandum.

    And to that point
    https://forums.bit-tech.net/index.p...d-challenge-winner-and-motm-july-2020.373933/

Came at really difficult time in my life. The mod and writing the thread were a big part in keeping me sane. Winning motm and getting nominated for moty were chufty badges of the largest degree.

Frying an egg is the first one. Trubs Cheesecake.
There was a scratch-built project log of someone building a custom PC that a few people likened to an atomic bomb. I thought it was called Atomic, but I can't find it. Jaw on the floor result.
    OG demote thread.
